Rejection, Acceptance, & Guilt

These 3 words are what I have found to be what people struggle with the most. A lot of our actions can be motivated by the perceived rejection of others, the failure to accept ourselves as well as our needs, and the burden of guilt which is usually not even ours to hold on to. We drown in this, we are smothered by this, and it distracts us from focusing on who we are. Self-love can ultimately be the cure for these issues by choosing to take complete responsibility for only ourselves. That means not taking on other people’s issues and instead owning our feeling and never minimizing our needs again. Take the first step of loving yourself by showing gratitude for who you are and how far you have come because thanksgiving should start with you.
